In-Touch Schools Acceptable Use Policy

Defines acceptable behaviour for users of the school platform.

1. Purpose

The platform exists to support safe, professional communication and school administration. This Policy applies to every authorised user.

2. Required behaviour

Users must act lawfully, respectfully and in accordance with school policies. Information must be accessed only for authorised purposes.

3. Learner protection

Users must not expose learner information publicly, share it outside authorised channels, or use the platform to contact learners or families for inappropriate personal or commercial purposes.

4. Prohibited content

Prohibited content includes unlawful material, threats, harassment, hate or discriminatory content, sexually explicit content involving minors or any other unlawful material, malware, scams, impersonation and content that creates a material risk to learners or the school.

5. Security

Users must use strong credentials, protect devices, avoid credential sharing and report suspected security incidents promptly.

6. Enforcement

The school and/or provider may restrict, suspend or terminate access for violations. Serious incidents may be referred to appropriate authorities.
